Our Founding Story

GIL Foundation was founded in 2024 by a group of passionate young individuals who recognized the need for educational support and leadership development in underserved communities in Africa.

Grounded in the lived experiences of several first-generation students, what began as a small mentorship initiative has grown into a dynamic organization — helping students access scholarships, grow in their careers, and lead ethically with purpose.

GIL Foundation has expanded its reach, working with communities in Ghana and beyond to help every young person reach their full potential.

Paul Lamptey is a Business Analyst with an interest in enhancing strategic business decision-making through data-driven insights. His expertise lies at the intersection of Social Entrepreneurship, Business Development, Digital Marketing, Leadership, and Project Management. He is an advocate for living a purpose-driven life and is passionate about maximizing our potential to create a positive impact on society.
